Well, I’m finally moved in down here. Tomorrow is my first day of work at my new job. I didn’t think I would miss my old job much until my last day. I didn’t realize people thought so highly of me until I was leaving. I won’t be missing Kentucky though. I did make some really great friends there and they won’t be forgotten. Hopefully we will be able to keep in touch. I’ll be going back up there this upcoming weekend to clean our old house and pick up a few odds and ends we left behind.
I just wanted to jump on here and hate on this organization. I though it would be a cool place to work when I was searching for a job. I sent them my resume and received a call back to schedule an interview. During the interview I was asked how I felt about working with and for women. I told them I didn’t mind because as far as I know we are all suppose to be equal. The next question asked me what my stance was on racism. What?!?! I am made up of two races and it’s easy to tell. I told them that I don’t tolerate it and that it’s everyone’s responsibility to report it. Then they kept pestering with questions about whether I am violent or not. I was about to start acting like a straight up jack ass in the interview, but I sincerely did want the job. I’ve noticed they reposted the job, so they’re obviously not going to hire me. Now, thinking back, I should have went buck the fuck postal up in there. While I was in there I got the feeling that they wanted to hire a woman for the position. I can understand, it being the YWCA and all, but god damn!! They made me feel like a straight up piece of shit. I love women, I’m married to a woman, but these bitches were some straight up racist, man-hating, whores. In summary, they made me feel very uncomfortable and now I wish for them to get cancer.
I emailed the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission to see whether I should file a complaint or not. The YWCA is full of lies and false hope while the directors steal money that should go to needy women.

Well, I can check 2 items off of my new year resolution list. I lost 15lbs and I just landed a new job in Nashville. Looks like I’ll be moving to Tennessee in the next 2 weeks. This will be my first management position since I’ve been in the IT industry. I am actually excited. It’s a small to medium sized company, which I like. They have some awesome benefits and perks.
Looks like 2008 is going to be aight.
